Here's how to apply this approach within your workflow:

Step 1: Create Persistent Meta Prompts

For each major function in your music career, create a dedicated meta prompt document:

1. Navigate to your Notes component in Musician OS
2. Create a new note titled "Meta Prompt: [Function]" (e.g., "Meta Prompt: Release Strategy")
3. Structure your meta prompt using the three-layer approach (Role, Process, Output Format)
4. Save this document for easy reference
5. Create a new Notebook and link all you Meta Prompts to it

1. Copy and paste your saved meta prompt as the first message
2. Confirm the AI understands its role and instructions
3. Proceed with your specific questions or tasks

I'll analyze each release you describe, develop 8-week strategies considering playlists, content, and press angles, and present them in a weekly timeline with stretch goals and critical success factors. What release would you like me to strategize for?

YOU: I'm planning to release my new EP "Midnight Reflections" on March 15th. It's a 5-track indie electronic project with vocals, aimed at listeners who enjoy artists like Bonobo and Four Tet...

Step 3: Create Project-Specific Context

For ongoing projects, add a second layer of context after establishing the meta prompt:

1. Provide key information about your specific project
2. Include any unique constraints or goals
3. Reference past conversations if relevant

Some AI apps like Claude & ChatGPT allow you to add ‘Project Knowledge’ so that every chat within a specific project will be able to reference project specific context without you having to add it again each time. More on this in the next section.

YOU: For context on this upcoming album project "Desert Nights":

- This is my sophomore album after the well-received "Mountain Dawn" EP

- Core sound is indie folk with subtle electronic elements

- Key themes include personal transformation, desert landscapes, and nighttime reflection

- Target audience is 25-40 year old listeners of artists like Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, and José González

- Timeline constraint: Need to release before summer tour beginning June 15

- Budget constraint: $5,000 total marketing budget

- Unique opportunity: I have a potential sync placement in a Netflix documentary if delivered by April

For each category, suggest 3 specific approach angles tailored to playlist curators' perspectives."
